I saw APC again on Saturday. The show was fucking incredible; by far the best APC show out of the four I've been to. The highlight for me was when Danny Carey (drummer from Tool/PLC) played on "Thomas". Unbelievably intense. I've got an mp3 of it already and it's my new favorite thing.
No leave of absence for me. My managers said the reason (working at a Halloween store) wasn't good enough. Reasonable? Yes. Sucks? Absolutely. So I'm going to work at the Halloween store anyway. I expect to be burned out and dead by Monday.
A few weeks ago, my parents decided to buy my 16-year-old sister a car. There's a perfectly good Buick in the driveway that I don't drive, but they still took out $3000 and bought her a car. She drove it into a tree. Fucking excellent.
