I have always felt that a man to man relationship is more honest than a woman to man or a woman to woman.
I know that's a weird thing to think, but it just seems more sincere. I think because of that, this anime killed me.
My mother even came in my room to ask me if I was okay.
But I dunno if you could consider it Yaoi. It's more like Shounen-ai. *shrugs*
