What happened to the warrior?
Roman senators willing to betray their emperor to protect the freedom of their people, putting their life in peril to be with their Cleopatras despite her fits of impetuousness.
Knights upholding their values by risking life and limb for country and lady; never neglecting their duties while riding under the crest of their family.
Samurai avowed to their katanas, fighting to uphold Bushido, protecting those whom have their sworn loyalty, and guarding their honor until they meet Death in battle.
Rogues robbing from the corrupt rich and giving back to the poor, turning the feudal tables of injustice by arrow and bow, all the while wooing their Maid Marions.
Cowboys, lawless and wild, pausing to right wrongs through a game of poker, branding their way through town after town, gun slinging their personal brand of justice.
What happened to the warrior?
The warrior is dead.
Long since placed in the catacombs of old Rome,
Entombed in unmarked graves on Badon Hill,
In earthed under the Sakura trees of ancient Edo,
Hidden in the underbrush of Sherwood Forest,
And buried in the scorched deserts of the Wild West.
The way of the warrior has long since perished, and yet, the women are still mourning.

I think there are warriors left in this world I just think that the fight is different. I would still call people warriors that stand up for something not just the people that kill for something.
