Dear Sweet Babies,

I love you more than I even have words to describe, you are my only priority now and forever. These choices I've had to make have all been for you. I know you will be so sad that Mommy has to go away, and Daddy won't be around either.

Lex, do you remember when Daddy went away with the military? Well now it's Mommy's turn to go. I'm going to be gone for a long time, probably even longer than Daddy was, but I will love you so hard every single second of every single day. I know it seems like lots of people have walked out of your life, but please please know that Ill never ever do that. I'm going now so I can take care of you forever. Try to be happy going to kindergarten, and being with Nan, Scott and your sister. She's going to be sad too, you know, and I need you to be strong and brave for your little sister. Make sure she knows that Mommy will come back and that I love her so much. Give her kisses, and hugs, and snuggle each other when you're sad. Promise to write me a letter every day and send me lots of pictures, both that you drew and of your beautiful face.

It kills me to leave you, my loves, but remember that one day I'll be back. And I will love you even more than I ever thought I could. The two of you are my everything.
