thanks to everyone who sent me a message or posted a comment, after i had an emo-centric whinge about my boyfriend leaving me.
it still really hurts and i still miss him.
to top it off, ive caught some kind of weird virus one can only catch working in an office, so im currently at home, in bed, watching the new series of 24 online.
atleast jack will never leave me!
edit: i have a job interview next friday BUT i need ideas: how does one get out of work? i cant ask for a day off cos we need to give 2 weeks notice, i cant take a sick day cos ive taken too many already and i dont like crying wolf... help?
edit: ive clocked in 13 hours of 24 so far. a personal record.

Were gonna go at the end of this month and book another table - its a cool relaxed night. Ask Lucille and we'll arrange it all.
Good luck with the interview - call in sick and quote explosiove diarrohea - that'll stop them asking questions!
Claim it's a funeral. They can't argue with that and clearly you couldn't have given more notice.
If that's a bit morbid then 'personal problem' or 'family situation' or similar ambiguous pair of words sounds like it's too much of a sensitive/private issue to go into and they generally just let you have the time off and don't ask questions for further details for fear of sounding rude. And if they do, dropping the word 'gynaecologist' in amongst a stream of mumbles tends to work!
