haha... i feel the same way about heels... my problem is that im already 5'9" and most heels that i like put me over 6 feel tall... but whatever.
i think in order to not view heels as a sexist constraint, you have to 'own it' and wear heels for how they make YOU, it doesnt matter what anyone else says or thinks about it. if they make you feel beautiful, that is what is important.
and the bangs, i do the same thing. ive had them for so long that whenever i pull them back i think i look totall wierd and lose the courage to grow them out... but i think you could totally do it, work toward the side-swept bang to see how you feel!

im going up to finish a 4 track ep that tooks us 480 dollars and 2 days.... we have to pay the producer another 100 for his own time on mixing and editing.... were finishing it at a different studio... stressing whether or not we can make it up there this weekend or if the producer will send it to the other one! so atleast you guys finished yours
i also lost my job right after we finished our first session and let me tell you... it lights a fire like no other to do music not only to occupy time but so theres that spark of hope that you might not have to get another shitty job
