Just letting you know that I can't make it to that meet this weekend if you were still thinking about it. Soz. Family commitments.

Stay positive babe. I have some amazingly shit days inside the wire but somehow they're controlled by some sick bastard in an office so I know they're not quite the same as uncertain civvy situations. However I always think of people close to me. Think of that person you love. no matter how far away they are or even how little they know you care. head down and push through by trying to be as constructive as possible. You can be negative as long as you're being constructive. That's what I find anyway. mental hug coming at ya.

Tell you what Kate, I've got an issue of computer arts projects here which is all about self promotion.

Get yer work uploaded to illustrationmundo.com or 5oup.com. Both will have dedicated audiences and collaborators on, which should drum up some support for your work.

On a lesser note, have a look at Depthcore.com too. Apparently, that one is tricky to join and is more more fantasy and abstract artists, but it might be worth a gander.

Oh, and virb.com is another myspace/facebookesque site but its more focused on creative types and the design is generally better.

If I were you I'd design some t-shirts and badges to throw about while you're gigging too. Because people are lookin' at ya.

I'm glad people are liking the animation - I'd like to redo it at some point, to the whole track, now that I've got back into drawing and I know a bit more about After Effects. So yeah. We shall see.
