Call center jobs...
where do i start....
how about we start with the fun calls!!! The ones where the customer is sweet and fun, and tells you how awesome you are when you fix their issues and they move on.
then we get the nasty ones. The ones who talk to you any type of way because they dont have the balls to talk to someone like that in real life. The ones who clearly are in desperate need of some TLC, and then some.
the ones who sound like they hadnt even had breakfast yet, much less brushed their teeth before they decided to call and bitch about a 2.00 increase in their bill, that they got the notice about months ago, but never bothered to open.
The kind that you can tell they have ZERO clout at their job, and try to make themselves important on the phone to someone who really couldnt give two shits if they worked at the front desk or were a manager....
But again, you get those nice people. The kinds that send emails to your boss, giving you props and tell them how you need a raise (but i wonder, do people really think that works?!). The amazing people who tell the company how amazing your customer service is, and that YOU are the reason they stick with the company.
THESE people are the TRUE MVPS, and the reason i can survive my job day to day.
