Jimbo’s Front Porch declared this international holiday for the first time back in 2007, he is an old farmer who carved crochet hooks in wood collected from the ranch. I would love to have some needle carved by him!!!
Some research shows that crochet originated in Arabia, then spread eastward and westward on Arab trade routes to other Mediterranean lands. Other research indicates that crochet comes from indigenous tribes in South America. Maybe you don't know but one of my favorite hobbies is crochet, it's a technique I learned many years ago with my grandmother, i really love to weave clothes and accessories in crochet, it's amazing to have exclusive clothes created by me and it's also therapeutic.
I also have contact with other crochet designs in the world and I receive some patterns to make. I am currently creating some crochet pattern designs for sale.
