My girlfriend got into a car accident last night. It was all very hectic, but she had no injuries. Her car might be totaled but she was not at fault so it all could have been worse.
Writing. Writing. Writing. I have been busy writing. I have two current projects. One is a script for a comic book series. Its inspiration springs from Pilgrim's Progress,The Road Warrior, and my sociopolitical beleifs, especially my hatred of that temple to American consumerism, the Shopping Mall. Yesterday I finished the first draft and started typing up the second. After staring at Word for a couple of hours, I had a headache and almost was tempted to buy a typewriter. Then I remembered how many mistakes I make while at the keyboard, and the beauty of being able to go back and fix them. Regardless, I have never taken a long term project so seriously, and it is very exciting for me. When the final draft of the first issue is done, I guess the only thing to do will be to look for an artisit.
My other much smaller project is a script for my friends at Not a Tad Bad Flim Co. It's a modernization of the old Jack O' Lantern story. Because of the need to get a certain project done before we all go off to school, my little idea probably will not get made, which is a shame because I would have gotten to play the devil.
That's it for now. I'll give Not a Tad Bad a proper plug sometime in the future. If you stumble across my journal, go poke around the website. Sign the guest book while you're there. It will warm the cockles of their heart.
Cheers,
Ch
P.S. My friend Teej posed a question to me recently, which I pose now to all of you:
do the so called scene boys wear tight pajama pants to bed?

Wow, glad everything is okay with your girlfriend. I am impressed these days with how quickly things can go bad. I am happy that that was not the case here.
