Ah, soon...she will be here soon.
Current music: Radiohead, Lucky
Alrighty, got my books from amazon today, i'm done with one and starting another...seriously, it was like watching a thirsty man stumble across a kiddie pool, i am addicted.
So, in the spirit of things, here are some thoughts on the libros:
Soon, I will be Invincible by Austin Grossman. I devoured this book in a couple of hours, i really liked the premise of it. the villains point of view is interesting, giving us access to his deep thoughts, while all his dialogue is classic cheeseball villain. the twist wasn't what i thought it was, which is refreshing in a book.
Crooked Little Vein by Warren Ellis. i have just started this, and man, i love it. i have literally put the book down and laughed out loud about a dozen times since i started. classic ellis, it smacks of his Transmetropolitan style, which is to say, smart, angry, fiendishly disturbing and funny as hell.
Waiting on The Atrocity Archive on a recommendation from the sockpuppet, we will see if it is any good. premise sounds interesting enough.
Going to start rereading the sandman. its just so damn chock-full of mythic goodness. i loves it good.
I would welcome any recommendations from you peeps, i will be on empty again soon!
