I found out that I am anemic real bad. My iron level is at 18, and it is supposed to be between 50-200 or something like that. I have to take three iron pills a day.
My friend found out her iron was really low a few months ago and she really upped it by eating iron rich foods in addition to the pills. It also lists foods good for increasing iron absorbtion. Hope it helps.
