hey everyone, how's things?
i have been lurking on here for a little over a year now, instead of being a contributing member of suicidegirls.com. i've decided that if i'm paying yearly for this wonderful site, i'm going to abuse every power that they give me! muahahaha
hmm.. where to begin..
over the past 2 months, with a ton of help from P90X (you've probably seen the infomercials.. no, billy mayes is not on it), Men's Health magazine and the Eat This, Not That! series of books, i've lost 27 pounds. For anyone looking to lose weight, or even just get in better shape, I highly recommend P90X. it's awesome.
also, a few weeks ago i decided to do something crazy and cancelled my cable service. i still have the interweb, but now i don't have to pay $70 a month to get cable channels (thanks for the inflated prices, time warner monopoly). why would i do such a thing you ask? because i discovered that you can stream your netflix membership right through your xbox 360. instead of paying for cable every month, i pay $9.00 a month and can instantly watch just about anything that i want, when i want. for any fellow insomniacs out there, Wall-e is the best insomnia cure-all ever. I think I've watched (parts of) it 5 times in the past 2 weeks, never earlier than 3 am.
it's also given me an awesome opportunity to catch up on documentaries that i've been neglecting to watch due to the fact that i was too busy watching repeats of the same 5 shows i've watched every day for the past 5+ years. i watched a documentary called born into brothels a few days ago, about children growing up in the red light district of calcutta. you know how everyone has that one person in their life who likes to say "no matter how bad life is, there's always somebody who has it worse"? watch this documentary if you want to see who they're talking about.
one more thing - has anyone else noticed that the arcade games that you can buy for $3 or whatever always turn out to be the best games on xbox 360? i'm addicted to peggle. if anyone else plays peggle on their 360, feel free to add my gamertag mr wiyagi. also, if you have any tips on how to complete the #$^@$^ 750,000 points in one level challenge, PLEASE TELL ME! comment on my blog, send me a message on xbox 360, send a pigeon, ANYTHING!
have a good tuesday everybody
