Okay, so I've got a bunch of pictures now. I'm not a complete wine-o either...... just don't let me see your red wine if you have any. I claim no responsibility for my actions otherwise.
Sooooo, what do I do now? Anyone out there? Maybe I'll rant a bit..... or, how about I post one of my poems. Yeah.... here's Speckled Wall:
Speckled Wall
They drowned their sorrows in thought.
Buried each secret, and smiled wide with dissent.
Each miniature second held their breath,
And they sighed with contemp.
Brought together in what seemed to be
Like some twisted fairytale, a dream
That echoed in their heads, a moment
To consider the final moments of their time.
It didn't seem like such an easy task,
To finish what had already ended.
They stared into each others eyes,
A tear rolling down their mirrored orbs.
Unable to move, speak, or even to breathe,
Their eyes stayed locked.
They gulped a sigh, and choked goodbye
But with a sharp turn, they looked away.
It wasn't such an easy task, to bring
An ending to what had already finished.
They broke down, not glancing at each other
For what seemed like eternal seconds.
With one hand against the other, they rose
And locked visions again never to leave sight again.
unblinking...unbound...unwanted.
The seconds had reached their end.
Five seconds ticked by as their hands rose.
Two more clicked by as guns touched heads.
A half a second ended his life....... and the
Mint-green and white tiled wall
Stared at it's tinged self, wondering
How it had become speckled with such a horrific red paint.
~KK~
I would love your thoughts, comments, and criticism please. It's the only way to grow.
