i narrowly avoided an accident yesterday morning, on the way to my place of business that would have been decidely non-good. there was a snow storm the night before, and i took the back roads as the freeway was backed up, as happens often on such an occasion. i was making rather good time, and upon coming around bend i proceeded through a green light, and out in front of me came a post-office van, at a slightly lesser speed than my own, from out of a gas station parking lot. i turned left into oncoming traffic(there was a car coming but a little bit further off, the car hurtling toward me seemed the priority), i missed him by inches, well, he actually hit me, not even enough to dent the bumper. after that i got even further over to the wrong side of the road hoping that the other driver would veer over to avoid me, which he did. then i got back over to my side just soon enough for another car on the way.
it's seems every year the drivers get worse around here, excepting myself of course.
