The most important and lovely holiday for me was the five-year anniversary with my boyfriend in this september. ♥
We left our favorite town and went to Karelia for two days. Karelia is a part of Russia on the border with Finland. It's amazing place!
First of all we visited the Marble Canyon and Mountain Park. The guide told us about the history and characteristics of this place. Very deep canyon surrounded by marble rocks, covered with trees. Large chunks of of different breeds of marble, deep mines, special equipment, trails in the mountains. All of this was interesting and new for us. The road and the excursion took away all our day.
The next day we went to Lake Ladoga. It was early morning and over the water was hanging thick fog. We had breakfast in the camp, and then enjoyed hot tea and this place. There reigns inexpressible atmosphere, comparable only with the Finnish black metal.
On the street a bit warmer and the sun came out, we went to a waterfall [I don't remember the name, cuz the Finnish language too difficult for me]. It was so small, but very cute waterfall.
And the rest of the time we spent in the Mountain Parks: rode on the bungee through the canyon, boating, feeding ducks and swam in caves.
It was the most beautiful two days in my life ♥
