Quote of the Day
Motherhood is the most emotional experience of ones life. One joins a kind of womans mafia. Janet Suzman
Hello kittens. I guess I could be updating more but Che Sara Sara. Dont Think Ive mentioned Ive been volunteering at a used book store. Gets me store credit so I can feel my bibliophile addictions more or less free, just giving up my time, which I guess I could be using to read or do something more productive around my house. But it gets me out and I really enjoy being around all those books. And Im pretty much guaranteed a paying job anytime I want one. And what is most way cool is that I can bring my son too.
Well last Saturday I mentioned to an acquaintance that we had over that I was working there and he felt compelled to say he had never met more miserable people than used book store employees. Other than it being a kind of inappropriate thing to say I wondered at his comment. The store owner and I have a pretty good time all things considered; which is mostly that the store is being remodeled, and it a mess. I love the time I spend at the bookstore. I love books I love all the free book credits; what isnt to love? And why on Earth would someone who didnt really love books work at any kind of bookstore? And If you love books, are passionate about books and are surrounded by them on a regular basis, why wouldnt you be in bliss? I know I am. The book store gets me out meeting people and having a good time doing something I love and it is way the hell better than the Stepford Wives Club.

My Witchy Socks came from Salem Mass. They go with my T-shirt. Sadly the company Witchy Ts went out of business.
Southern Saying of the Day:
