Quote of the Day:
I'm starting to trip, I'm losing my grip and I'm in this thing alone. Avril Lavigne from Losing Grip
That is what Im listening too currently. Well not currently but when I did the quote anyway.
Dont know about where you are but it is cold and rainy here in the foot hills of Northern Virginia. So, as always since Ive moved, my poor feet are cold. This past weekend my folks came up and brought all the stuff the movers left behind in Raleigh. I have my scrapbook supplies back and my elliptical trainer as well. So maybe Ill get moving soon.
Hope everyone had a happy bunny day and went to see the RECUT Passion of the Christ. Am I the only one out there that thinks this REALLY, REALLY needed a different name like expanded or limited edition or something not including the word CUT? I can only imagine someone has my dark and distasteful sense of humor out there. Hell I aint Christian and think calling it RECUT is kinda distasteful and offensive.
Loving the Netflix membership. Again Im begging folks to ask me to be friends if they have a membership so I can gush over great movies I happen to see and rent the movies you gush over.
This weekend we watched
Comic Book Villains was a delicious Dark Comedy. Well scripted and well acted by a really great cast. A delightfully likable and hateable cast of characters make up the story. I highly recommend it for anyone and everyone who has ever been into anything or known a person who is a little obsessed with something.
I found out about the movie by checking out the Nevermore Film Festival website where I first learned about Bubba Ho-Tep so it was right along the lines with that movie. I laughed out loud, I cringed and squirmed in my seat and shook my head in total astonishment. A great effort by everyone involved. However I don't think I will every get used to Cary Elwes with an American accent. But he is yummy to look at, no matter what kinda accent comes out of his mouth.
We also have watched The Village, Gothika and the first 2 disks of Hellsing.
M. Night Shyamalan totally got my ass, again with The Village. It was a really great movie. I havent not liked a one of M. Night Shyamalans movies that Ive seen and The Village did not disappoint me.
Gothika was ok. It has a nice twist when you finally start to figure it all out.
And thus far Hellsing is pretty good. Generally, Im not into that type of Anime but it is getting better especially not that Victoria isnt acting quite so girly.
The first DVD of the BBCs Chronicles of Narnia is on its way. Cant wait for that. Im getting excited about the upcoming movie that is due out holiday time. Im kinda disappointed though cause The Magicians Nephew I dont think is gonna make it into the movie.
Love to you all and XOXO. Go see some movies if you got the time. And again if you have a Netflix account please invite me to be your friend.

Keep well darling
I was at that festival. I saw The American Astronaut, which is one of the best films I've ever seen. Unfortunately, it is almost impossible to find.
