Quote of the Day
Oh, the gladness of their gladness when they're glad, And the sadness of their sadness when they're sad; But the gladness of their gladness, and the sadness of their sadness, Are as nothing to their badness when they're bad. - Amos Bronson Alcott on women
Hi folks, seriously time to update. Enjoyed a long presidents day weekend with the family. Went to the mall and got a kick ass T-shirt:
The kids also couldnt resist getting cool T-shirts either. But since the will fit me too what the hell.
The other shirt is a Legend of Zelda shirt.
Of course that mall visit meant I needed to update my Hot Topic Wish List.
We did the movie thing some more. Attack of the Giant Leeches is pretty interesting. Amazing how the slutty people died in the old movies too.
We also watched the Life of Brian. Listen to the best song ever here in Lo Fi..... And just about fell out when it had Full Frontal on both a guy and girl. And Bubba Ho-Tep with Bruce Campbell as a geriatric Elvis.
Bubba Ho-Tep was great. Here is a pic of the hero shot.
Tomorrow Im supposed to host another play group. While I thought the first one went well, no one showed up last time and it looks like it will be the same this time. Im trying to coax people into coming but maybe Im just too strange for these Bored, Blonde, Middle Class, Republican, Soccer Moms to handle.
I did find a great Pagan shop. Esoterica. They are really friendly and such. Looks like they have given up on selling books because all the major booksellers can out price them but hey they are awesome. They have some wonderful belly dancing supplies. I just drool over them. But I dont have the $$$$$ to spend on a beautiful jingling coin belt or hip scarves from them. I found some great stuff at Turkish Emporium though. Really cool, cool stuff.
Socks of the Day:
Lovin the rainbows.
Southern Saying of the Day:
This is something I cant even get over at 31, from when I was a kid. It is the first thing that pops into my mind ANY time I hear the phrase How old are you?

Old enough to eat cornbread without choking.
Yes, Strange I know.
