Well PPD was this weekend and that is what was yelled at us during the closing ritual.
Sometimes I hate people. Im moody, will be for a few days, so just deal.
PPD was nice I even got the chance to wear my boots as the zombified remains of hurricane Ivan were pouring rain on us in the AM. I wore my new teenie bopper outfit I bought because Im obviously having a midlife crisis. Why else?
Dorian took a picture after I got home but for some reason the SG website wont let me upload it so you will just have to wonder how far over the fucking edge Ive gone. Needless to say one guy I know from the NC Sate and Central NC Pagan Leadership Conferences truly appreciated the boots.
So knowing I made his day made mine. It doesnt take much I guess.
PPD was nice it was nice not to actually be leading anything and being able to socialize and be social butterfly. However, when the person flaked who was supposed to bring the collected food to the NC Food Bank I was happy to have a van and be able to step up to the plate and offer something to the community. Needless to say my van is very weighted down at the moment and very full.
And the highlight of the weekend was that I ordered a custom corset from Gray Cat Designs. The designer Laura is awesome. She helped Araneda and I with our Lord of the Rings costumes for the 2004 Oscar party and also did the overdress for my Rosie Cotton costume from Trilogy Tuesday. She is awesomeness and lives very close. I love being able to support local Pagan craftsmen and business owners.
The chick below with her back turned to the camera, she is wearing the corset style I bought. It is an Elizabethan corset.
Idjiit also invited the family to see flyball. We went to that today it was nice to get to know him and Kitschy better, they are a really sweet couple with two of the sweetest pups.
