Well it is Saturday and I felt like updating my journal despite the fact that I just did yesterday.
I indulged myself and had a manicure and pedicure. I also found a CD of an old tape of mine that was eaten by my tape player.
I dont know how or why this band didnt totally keep going but I loved this album. Still love this album.
Their song Stay was a moderate hit in the US. But I loved almost the entire Album and since purchasing the CD on Ebay I found that they are still singing just not as Shakespears Sister so I am happy. Maybe I have a new favorite band.
Ok speaking of Music What were the last several albums you bought?
Well here are mine:
Shakespears Sister - Hormonally Yours
Maroon5 Songs about Jane
Compilation 1980s Dance
John Denver The Best of John Denver My father was a big John Denver fan so I know listing to this will remind me of him
Compilation Women & Songs A giant estrogen fest
Avril Lavigne Let go and Under My Skin What can I say I like her she is my current official Mad Chick singer, not unlike Alanis was for me in the 90s
And while they werent as recent I purchased all Ashley MacIsaac's albums a few months ago and if you like the fiddle and Celtic music with a modern twist and sometimes a punk or rock twist he is the shiz niz. I also love Banghara music and Panjabi MC. You just have to listen to it, wonderful Indian/Punjabi influence that makes one want to belly dance and totally jam out at the same time. He has 2 songs where he mixes the Magnum PI and Knight Rider themes. They rock.
So needless to say I like all kinds of music.
Happy Weekend
UPDATE
Araneda took some pics, they will were posted to PSW. KaraLynn: Bubbly is the name and here are a couple previews.
Kudos to LindaRI67 and oldskoolpat for recommending we pull out the camera, it's been a while.

The other woman in Shakespeare's Sister (the non-Bananarama one) Marcy Levy, used to sing with Clapton. Ever hear that long jam-out song "The Core"? She co-sings and co-wrote that song with him.
a good threesome will be hard to find, as a good twosome is pretty hard to find.
