Ok, that song has been on my mind. Cant get it out of my head because it reminded me of a friends journal entry. Plus Ive been chatting with said friend and she is being a big tease. And Gawd do I love it.

Happily it looks like Frances wont be heading up to the NC coast so I will be able to commune with Yemaya out at the beach for a few days. Im really looking forward to it. The sound of the ocean, the feel of the sand, my face turned up to the sun Sigh. Tomorrow cant come fast enough. Would I be a bad mom if I left and didnt make my son go to the half day of school tomorrow? Hate to admit Im even considering that. But Im just so ready to go to the beach. It seems like forever since Ive been.

I want to walk along the beach looking for sand dollars.

One kink in the plan. I dont know if my nipples are healed enough to go swimming. I dont think one month is quite long enough. Buggers. And I cant find waterproof Band-Aids that actually cover me and seal. Ill probably end up cheating with that like I have with the no intimate contact for 6 weeks thing. I wussed out. My will power faded. I am no longer the Steal Nipple Nazi I once was. But it was soooooooooo worth it. God how did I live without these piercings?

I got board of looking at my profile pic so I added this somewhat bitchy one. I made some others and put them in my Just Me folder. I don't think one will last long.
