This blog is dedicated to the little grey tree crawling squirrel. I will call him Walnutz!
I was on my way home about 7:00pm tonight. Excited to get home cause I had 3 movies and a TON of jewelry to make for an upcoming show. I was ready to get stuff done due to being sick all week long.
Almost home, I had just turned the last bend in the road. Out of no where in slow motion i see a sweet, little, grey, fluffy squirrel running out from the woods. I quickly start to play all the different scenarios in my head of what to do. I notice an on-coming car and know if an animal runs out in front of you, you're suppose to just keep driving so you don't cause an accident. Well, I didn't do that. The little guy ran right under my car and all I could do was swerve trying somehow not to hit him or the other car. The other car had to swerve so I didn't hit them (thank you so much other car). I felt my car lift-up ever so slightly! Yes, yes I hit him
! I hit a little squire. It was AWFUL!! I screamed so loud and started to ball. I saw the poor little guy crawling from under my car to the sidewalk. I was in shock. I kept driving and made it home (which is just right abound the corner). All I could think of doing was calling my roommate and asking him for his gun. I had to go back and make sure the little guy wasn't suffering. I needed to put him to rest. Well, my roommate of course wouldn't give me his gun but he did drive me back to the crime scene to make sure he was if fact dead. He was dead, I had killed him! I feel soooo bad
I think he was a teenager but can't be sure. My cheeks are stained black from my eye make-up and feel so awful. It just happened so fast. I don't think I could have not hit him.
So, I dedicate this to him. R.I.P little squirrel, I am soooo very sorry
I hope you didn't suffer

In Scotland they have rope bridges for the red squirrels. Sorry that had to happen, but seeing one squirrel on the road means many more on the move in the woods.

Aw man! I started reading that and knew I shouldn't keep going. But I did. Like a fool. Now I feel almost as miserable as i know you must've felt! ![frown](https://dz3ixmv6nok8z.cloudfront.net/static/img/emoticons/frown.cec081026989.gif)
