I think you may be missing the point of his first few acts. Anybody in a new job, wants to show a little progress right away . . so why not a few things that are quick and easy to do?

I agree with the closing of the prison at Guantanamo . . . . however, I think we should have just killed some of those guys instead of incarcerating them. Make those fuckers disappear, not hold them until the press gets the rest of the world focus on them. Then again, I think thousands of people in American prisons should have been eliminated too! As a law-abiding taxpayer, I resent having to buy them food, clothing, shelter, education, and entertainment. Murderers? Kill them. Drug smuglers? Kill them. Child Molesters? Kill them. etc. etc.

Osama Bin Laden? I think we should see how well he does, jumping off of a burning skyscraper. (or the equivalent)

It will be interesting to see what the future brings.
