Holy titanium rock batman, 2 updates in 2 days?! Blasphemy! But, yes, tis true another update. Im at work and have nothing to do (wtf?! Nothing to do madness) so I figured Id go ahead and babble on here for a bit. Its nice and dreary today, it makes me miss Seattle. It started pouring rain for a bit, it was wonderful. Speaking of missing Seattle and such Yesterday Steve said something about how I seem depressed and asked if Im home sick. I told him I dont know bla bla bla well, I was supposed to go back to visit Seattle for Warped Tour (and Eastern, Wa for the show) but since my car has been all fucked up and I have to put money into it, no money for a plane ticket. Which really sucks cuz from the moment we leave the Warped Tour campground (we camp the night before and the night of at the Gorge), my friends and I count down until W.T. the next year. Anywho, he had said something about that and said that Im going to Warped out there no matter what and has decided hes buying me a plane ticket. I told him no and he said that I cant do anything about it if he goes ahead and buys the ticket. I dont know if hes serious or not. Id feel bad oh well.
On another note, a few friends of mine wrestle locally, and 2 of them have decided I need to be their manager cuz no one has a female manager. Im not big into wrestling at all as a matter of fact, I cant stand watching WWF or any of that buuuut they have begged me to be their manager so I agreed. Little did I know when I agreed, I actually have to TRAIN like a wrestler this should be interesting. Ironically the one wrestling match I did go to (a few months ago), I only went because I had to take some of the developmentally disabled guys that I watch. Well, there was this group that was called The Misfits and they had badass Misfits shirts, and the announcer said something about them being from Seattle. I thought one of em was pretty hot so I went and asked him where they got their shirts. Well, he kinda blew me off (he was being bombarded by little kids) so I just wandered off. Well, a few weeks later, I was at the main office for work and this guy comes up to me and says youre the Misfits girl right??? and I guess I looked at him weird so he said the one with the Misfits shoe laces (I was kinda weirded out at this point cuz I didnt have those shoes on) I met you at the wrestling match, remember??? and it ended up being the guy I tried to talk to, Josh. Anyway, the Seattle thing is just a gimmic but he ended up being really nice, one of my good friends now a real oddball. But, yes, there was a point to this story its him and his tag team partner that want me to be their manager. So, tomorrow I get to start training, and the first thing I get to learn how to take a bump. Josh told me theyre gonna have me squat down with my arms crossed and one of them is going to shove me and Im supposed to learn to land flat on my back, arms out, chin tucked in he said that Ill either learn that or end up at the hospital with a concussion. Woo hoo, that sounds like fun hahaha I dont remember what else I have to learn tomorrow. Josh said Ill wake up on Sunday and wish I were dead cuz Ill be sore but Ill have fun.
I forgot to tell about my cd buying rampage when I was blabbing yesterday. During our trip to Knoxville over the weekend, we went to the Disc Exchange (a great cd store not the best, but better than most in this area). Well, I have a rule saying that I can only buy 2 cds when I go in there or Ill leave broke. Well, I ended up making several trips and ended up with both Fall Out Boy cds (in all its pop punk glory), both Funeral For a Friends, A Thorn For Every Heart, Best of Goldfinger, and Senses Fails first cd because mine was scratched to badly to play. Then, yesterday I went to Sam Goody and ran into this guy Knick who so kindly reminded me that Alkaline Trio and MXPX both had new cds come out recently (I had forgotten). Curse the luck I controlled my urge to return to the store haha.
Im trying to think if anything else interesting has happened recently OH! A few days ago my buddy Wil called me. I hadnt heard from him in forever. He was asking when I come home and told me that after his band finishes the tour theyre on now, theyre heading out this way with Hawthorne Heights hooray. I told him theyre gonna get all famous and forget about me haha he said no way cuz then they wont have anyone to go to the strip club with. Everyone should check them out they signed to Victory a while back I dont know if their old site is still up but its www.aiden.org, or theyre on myspace www.myspace.com/aiden OR you can just go to www.victoryrecords.com/aiden. Might as well use my posts for something constructive once in a while.
