Well I should be shooting on the 4th with Lorelei if everything goes according to plan. Which I'm super excited and nervous about. It's been a long time since I've shot and even though I've been losing weight and getting back to where I was when I was super tiny I've still got quite a bit of my curves going on. haha.
I've been working on getting enrolled into college which as a military spouse proves to be quite difficult, I'm going to be attending an online college to achieve my goal of a Bachelor's degree in Psychology. I've really found myself drawn into counseling type work and helping people. My biggest interests being, military families, children and the disabled as well as PTSD sufferer's. I think it will be a rewarding career.
Sunday night was tons of fun as well. The sailor and I took the 45 minute trip to Chicago to go see Chuck Ragan and the rest of our favorite musicians on the Revival Tour. My sailor is a Chuck superfan. haha. He of course got all shy when it came to meeting him after the show so I had to get Chuck's attention and introduce th sailor and myself. I told him on the way home that if we drive 45 minutes again to a concert like that and he acts like a little lost girl again I will kick his ass. He wanted to meet Chuck so I had to make it happen. haha.
The concert was so worth the lack of sleep. It was redneck and beardy goodness galore. Banjo's, fiddles, and an undertone of punk rock is the most perfect mix of music for my soul. I swear it!
I fell in love with Audra Mae a chick singer from Cali who is on the tour. When she sang her first song with all of the boys backing her up I just about jumped out of my skin by how amazing it sounded.
You should for sure check her out as well as Austin Lucas, Bob Lucas and of course Chuck Ragan. All very amazing artists.
Well other than that nothing new in my life. I'm still dealing with health problems as usual so everyone at the naval hospital knows me by face now. haha. So yeah so long and hopefully we'll be getting my set up fast after shooting and I'll go pink!! Crossing my fingers.
