kamikaze

I went to give blood a few days ago. was well chuffed as for the last two years my iron levels have been too low and I've not been alowed. Recently the level of iron you needed in your blood was put up so I thought it was even less likely I'd be able to give. How happy I was when my little blob of blood sank to the bottom of the blue liquid I had to have a wee interview with the nurse first as it'd been 2 yrs since my last donation and I was all "yeah, yeah, been here done this seven times before"
I went through got jabbed and gave one pint of my blood, 15 mins of my time and was rewarded with some yummy shortbread and orange juice.
Proceeded to the pub for lunch, had food and a pint then went toy shopping, for all of 8 mins, before I got all light headed and faint. tehe. I had to sit down in the middle of said shop for five mins, this is when I got embarassed, remembering my yeah yeah speech. Oh well next time I'm gonna take it easy!
