*hong kong* is a great country, though it can be a bit expensive depending on what u are looking 4... but if u want 2 experience the best of chinese culture without going there (i've been to shanghai and zhanjiang, nothing to get excited about) then that is a good place 2 start
good luck... i've been all over asia so if u want more, recommendations/opinions/horror stories, i'm more than happy 2 bore u with them
