Back in August of last year, I made 3 blog posts. One was about asexuality, one was about aromanticism, and one was about sex stances. For a very brief recap of those, asexuality is not feeling much or any amount of sexual attraction, aromantic folks are similar but with romantic attraction, and sex stances are your general personal attitudes about sex usually in relation to people you're into (i.e. if you're willing, ambivalent, would rather not, or totally unwilling to have sex).
But the ace community also has micro-labels. Most of them fit into the grey-ace category (in that they augment or further explain a person's more specific attitudes and circumstances of if and when they ever feel sexual attraction), though a scant few would more be considered part of the ace category. There are various micro-labels, and technically demisexual is one of them. It's just one of the most used ones in the community to the point where it's become less micro-label and more just label. And some of the rest of these are more label than micro-label, but are included here because of their commonness within the ace community. Going to give a very short rundown here, with hopefully a longer run-down of each within the next few days.
So, in short, there's Aceflux (sexuality that fluctuates and includes asexuality within that fluctuation), Aegosexual (things that don't include them can be very sexy, things that even might include them are . . . less so), Apothisexual (not only do they not have sexual attraction, but the very act repulses them), Cupiosexual (they don't feel sexual attraction, but they still want sex), Fraysexual (only people they don't know very well might sexy), Demisexual (only people they know very well might be sexy), Lithosexual (only people that don't find them sexy might be sexy), and Reciprosexual (only people that do find them sexy might be sexy). That should be enough for now, and the main ones people identify with, potentially.
So, tomorrow (hopefully) I'll go over Aceflux a bit more in detail. Some of these blogs might be long, some might be incredibly short, but I hope these will be useful to folks.
