We often speak about what to get someone on Valentine’s Day but we never hear about what to do for yourself. Whether that’s because you’re in a relationship or happily single. What if we could fulfill that special day ourselves?
Here are a few ideas for doing just that regardless of gender.
Take a Bath. Hear me out! It’s so cliché but admit it, once you get in that warm, relaxing bubbly tub it’s so hard to get back out. The warmth that comforts your entire body is amazing. Close your eyes and just enjoy.
Read a book. Stop putting off that book you purchased or wanted to purchase forever ago. You get to enjoy that free time. Take yourself into another world and escape into that book. You owe it to yourself so stop putting it off.
Go treat yourself to dinner. Alone! Yes, I said it. Don’t let anxiety take over. You’re absolutely allowed to spoil yourself. You’re saving by going alone. Splurge on that lobster, or that beautifully aged steak. Vegan? Go to that hip new spot that opened up and order all the appetizers!
Sleep in, get a mani, pedi with the massage. Men- you definitely need to try it out!
