There are many things you can get someone for Valentines Day. Flowers, Candy, Dinner, Lavish Gifts, etc. I think the one thing we’re lacking in this modern world is someone’s valuable time. It’s something that money simply can’t place a price tag on. It’s often misplaced and used on a phone, console or PC now. (Don’t come for me- I’m a gamer nerd myself!)
I’d prefer someone to take the time to let me know how much I mean to them versus a gift. If it must be a gift? Let it be something we can cherish and relate to together. The, “life is short” quote seems to fall on deaf ears when in actuality it’s just the simplistic truth. Life is short. Show your loved ones how much they mean. That’s all I am seeking.. acceptance and unconditional love met with invaluable time.
