kalamity

i'm taking a road trip...to IOWA! yuk! grandma's 80th birthday! sure to be the weekend from hell. gretchen is going to boarding...hope she doesn't run away or something. i'll probably be there all of ten minutes and my dad will have me in tears....he'll have nothing good to say about anything, least of all the hair, metal or ink! and goddess forbid! did i actually let my daughter cut her own hair? i didn't get much sleep last night and i think tonight is going to be the same !!! of course daddy i gave her the sharpest scissors in the house and then i took her to get a bottle of jack & a tattoo!!! help! i think my therapist would say that i need to be assertive with what i need and want from this encounter!!! fine i'm taking my ball and going home!
i think that mae is going to start a new trend at preschool! the 1/2 mullet...so stylish yet ever so practical! she says she's going to wear her rainbow tights and her pink plaid skirt with a green tiedye shirt to the party...i think she's going to the cheerleader with blue hair and a labret! how could i ever try to reshape that girl's sense of whats what?
