so, my fiancee and I live in western nc and this gas crisis bullshit is starting to really get old. Idk if anyone else lives where this crap is affecting or not, but if anyone is, how bad is it getting in your area? We commute to another county for work and every gas station between our house and our work is completely out of gas. I have 3/4 of a tank and theres 1/4 of a tank in his car and I have NEVER felt so helpless, not just as an American citizen but as a person in general. 
The fact that we live sort of out in BFE isn't very comforting either. I've never liked the feeling of being helpless and this is the first time ever that I truly have. To know that I can't just get in my car and drive is crippling to me. I don't think it would be as bad if we lived in or at least closer to town and we were in walking distance of everything, but when you have a half an hour drive driving 80mph you could only imagine how long it would take walking. and considering theres no buses or taxi's that run near our house it heightens that isolation feeling even more. Not trying to be debbie downer and seem all down and out but i guess i just wonder if anyone else on here is having to deal with all this crap? lol
