Let's start with the good!
My birthday just passed, and I was really quite worried being 3,500 miles from the friends i had celebrated my past three birthdays with. but I had an amazing time! and I want to thank you for all the love and even presents you sweeties gave me! It's so nice to have a good few days where i could just escape from all the worry.
Now to the bad...
Remember my last blog? remember how I felt ontop of the world! psoriasis free for the first time in my life, one of the only truly great doctors appointments I've ever had! he even joked about how i can go to the beach this summer worry free!!!
...two hours after that I got a call from the doctors office that my blood tests were indicating that the new medication was destroying my kidneys.
For a few days I just did this...
The funny thing is, I knew the meds were hurting me, but they were doing so much good, I was on cloud 9 I could ignore the pain that came with them! apparently my kidneys could not.. So I've switched to humira, and my kidneys are being tested constantly, they're hoping they'll heal themselves with time, I'm also testing positive for Rheumatoid Arthritis again, they're monitoring that too. and to top it off? my psoriasis is growing back too....
just as I could see land on my little kaiboat, a storm knocked me back out into sea...
