Okay okay, twist my arm, I'm updating.
Worked 10 hours today. That truly sucked. However, I DID get my special order from Sam Goody Yesterday, so it kinna balances out. For the both of you that are wondering, I got the classic At The Drive-In CD, in/CASINO/OUT. For those of you who have never HEARD of ATDI, you should definatly pick up one of their CDs. Relationship of Command is pretty easy to find, and all of their CDs have recently been rereleased, so you can special order them if they aren't there. I would suggest the CD Vaya for those looking, because it's one of my favorites of there, it's pretty short, and sells cheap.
Now you may be wondering, well dude, what do they sound like? I'm glad you asked. At The Drive-In sounds like nothing you've ever heard. I'm serious, there is no band I've ever heard that sounds quite like ATDI. The lead singer alternatly screams passionatly and sings melodicly, while the guitar strums the fine line between genius and insanity. The band as a whole is insanely talented and it's a true same that they broke up. However, if you find that you DO like them and want more, the Mars Volta is comprised of many of the former bandmates, including the singer and one of the guitarists. There, I'm updated.
valmara, valmara, valmara flechettes
kiss me with the lisp
of your shrapnel caress
lost this arm, lost this leg
lost this diving board
just a belly flopped proposal
of lets be friends

Sam Goody, eh?. You should buy stuff from me at Spencer's... Unless you have, and I just don't know it. I hope you're not easily offended, because I'm a huge piece of asshole when I work, but I don't mean any harm. It's just my nature.
I don't leave for Hawaii until the 24th, sillyface.
*sings*
I'll be here a while... ain't goin nowhere...
