I think I've come to enjoy working on Saturday nights. It's not something I'd want to do every weekend - and it's something I won't since it's on a rotating month-long schedule that bounces between three people, meaning one month on and two months off - but it's very, very relaxed. No real bosses. No real hassles. No real pressure. Not even a fucking dress code.
Today I worked in a pair jeans, some running shoes and a Ramones t-shirt. Other than laying out a newspaper, it didn't feel like work at all.
For the most part the evening was just me with some music and some podcasts, plopped down in front of a big fucking monitor and not a care in the world...which isn't all that different from some Saturday nights anyway.
I'm not always about feeling miserable and hating the world. Some day just feel swell.
