Just got back from the Mars Volta show and I am so tired. I also just came back from Anchor Bay earlier today after a 3 day trip.
All I can say is that show made me feel like I was in the 70's. Phsycedellic beats with crazy lights showing just how many weed clouds there were at the Greek Theater. Fucking sick.

Well I am going to smoke and sleep....the usual.

you go to so many concerts! i'm so jealous- i definitely need to move to a larger city where some decent bands that are actually worth seeing actually play.

oh, and, i actually sat opposite a girl on the train the other night who looked exactly like claire danes.

exactly like her. i was sitting for the longest time at first trying to establish who she looked like, and then it clicked- and after that it was sort of alarming how much she looked like her.

yeah, the nearest decent city for seeing bands here is about an hour and a half away by train. we get bands playing here, but they tend to be. . . pretty crummy. there's no real local scene, and the touring bands are all playing pretty uninspired generic gumph.

hmm. 'gumph', i don't think thats actually a word, but. .. oh well.
