I spent the weekend in fresno for a couple friends of mines wedding...
it was awsome and amazing, though there is a bit of an odd feeling that comes from watching a wedding where a girl you used to date is one of the brides, and your the single one surrounded by coupled up people.
which leads into another story. I went running by the lake yesterday, and plopped down at one point on the banks to watch some ducks. There were 4 boy ducks and 3 girl ducks.. other that the one extra boy the ducks were split up into boy girl couples... every so often one of the boys would decided he was interested in one of the other ducks and would swim over to her and she'd fly off and he'd chance her and her "male" would chance the lot of them..
so the extra boy duck would start to do this hopeful swim over to the female duck that the "chaser" left behind... but inevidably he'd return before the extra boy could get over to her, and the extra boy would kinda swim away...
I named him "Joey-Duck" after myself :-)
