Okay, guys, I have some exciting news...
I've decided to go for the gold - lay it all on the line - roll the dice - take a chance, take a take a chance chance!
Next Friday I'm going to spend $90 to apply for a study abroad program course that will take place this summer in Port Elizabeth, South Africa!!!
I intend to use the excess financial aid and school loan money next semester, plus every penny I can scrounge until this summer, and hopefully some kind donations from friends and family, to fund this amazing opportunity.
All of my hopes are riding on me getting accepted for the program in the first place.
Please cross your fingers and wish me good luck and good karma this week, because this is really the perfect time in my life to get out of America and actually do some good.
If/when I do get accepted, I'm going to set up a donation site so I can hopefully have everything covered with no worries.
