Oh, so confused! Should I watch Dexter Season 5 or read my new Cherie Priest novel? I want to read it so much!
Maybe I'll just chill with some Blue Moon, some spatter and wait to read for the drive to the miserable meeting in Roanoke tomorrow. Sounds good.
*** EDIT ***
You know, Dexter the Series upsets me. I really do love the story, the characters, but... I'm REALLY frustrated by Dexter's continual assertions that he's a monster or incapable of being true and honest with another human being. YES, he's lying about being a serial killer. But people love him. People care for him. He might be messed up, broken in some ways, but YOU CAN'T FAKE HUMAN RELATIONSHIPS. YOU CAN'T FAKE LOVE. His sister, his wife, the children. You can't fake that affection!
It just frustrates me. We see his humanity, but he can't see his own. We're all fucked up, Dex. Some of us can't even use our fucked up-ness for some good like you.
