Hey, yall. I decided to stop being a digital phantom of push/click passivity and write an entry. Sobriaty leads to adhoc literature, I suppose.
Monday night darkness in my apartment, I'm on hour three of my "Law and Order" binge. I'm starting working on an assignement for a class that's due on friday, such a lenghy amount of time gives me adequate room for procrationation (perhaps an quick stop at Linda's may be an option). Speaking of class, my department was a focus of a recent Seattle Times article. Dr. Janes get's more press coverage than the pope sometimes. But it's cool to live in a city where librarians and library scholars has semi-celebrity status, at least circa that Nancy Pearle Action figure. I'm just waiting for the version of the kung-fu grip to come out.
What else... oh, I'm writing a "novella", which is a short story that grows out of it's author's control and becomes a mini-novel. It's crap, but it helps stimulate me during my post-burnout phase of grad school.
