i may be starting an apprenticeship which means i would move so far west i'd be 20 mins from iowa. far away from my girl. i need to sleep this off because i'm extra sad right now. good night.
Jamie Gold! My (talented) twin separated at birth. Nice find, man!
So how're things with the new lady? How's Making Ghosts? When is your next show?
Let's get together for drinks soon. Thursdays are good. SGC is starting a semi-regular meetup at the Map Room Tuesday nights. Does that work for you?
So many questions!
somebody tried to pick a fight with me at that joint once, too. kind of a thick-necked sort of crowd in there. but yeah, hot bartenders for sure.
Yakuza put on an amazing show. played a lot of new material, and from what i can tell, that new album is going to fucking OWN. Bruce was in a mood when he got on stage, was stalking the floor in people's faces and hurling mike stands into the audience and shit. it was wild. Kylesa was pretty incredible, too.
glad you had a good night with A, though - i couldn't believe that that weird dude from the Double Door was wandering around there, i thought she'd get a kick out of that.
i'm so poor i put A1 steak sauce on my carrot/cauliflower/broccoli blend! i must say the carrots are much better than anything else but thayt's because of the sugar in them. overall: not too freaking bad.
boy, do i wrestle with that shit all the time, man. it's a tough one.
hoe that what you have is continuing to go as well as it seemed to be last week. i had a blast hanging with you guys, and hope to do it again sometime soon.
last week's flurry of shows hit my already skinny wallet pretty hard, so i don't have too much on tap for this weekend at all, even inexpensive, at this point. if something comes up, i'll give you a holler, though.
kicks ass indeed, man - she had me rolling with some of her cracks on people while we were still hanging at Double Door. between seeing a couple of great bands and spending time with some old and new friends, last night was the shit.
