alright... more new stuff on underny.com all the time...
last night, an incredible party involving subway trains, and a marching band.
look at either:

for the specifics...
all in all, had a great time, until the end, when I had to help a fellow partier(someone I didn't know) out of a bad scene. It seems he smoked or took a bit too much of something, and OD'd. I hung out with him for a while, to see if he would come out of it on his own. After about half an hour, he still didn't know his name, or where he lived so the bouncer (an off duty detective) and I made the decision to call EMT. While waiting for the ambulance, a few local kids started harrassing the few of us that were trying to help this kid. They were coming down on us like vultures... When the paramedics arrived and found out no one present knew the guy, they had to involve the police. It seems all of the kid's 'friends' abandoned him as he started to crash. I left the scene after helping the EMT's put him on the stretcher, and into the ambulance. Hopefully he's ok, and can learn a bit from this.
This brings up two questions...
1) What the fuck kind of friends would abandon one of their own, when they were passed out on the sidewalk in a really (seriously, REALLY) bad part of town?
2) How involved would you get if you witnessed something like this?
