So, this is a totally random story, but its my blog so why not?
Now, it doesn't matter who you are, or how pretty you are, or anything along those lines, every once in awhile there are those times where you're just feeling down on yourself. But I have an amazing story
I've always been a king of eternal optimist, no matter what I know I just have to tell myself that it's not as bad as it seems. Well, yesterday was Halloween, my absolutely favorite holiday, so I was hoping that it was going to be an amazing day. Well, the guy that I like/my best friend first ditched me. So me trying to not let anything get to me decided "Well that's alright, I'm gonna go get totally baked"
After hanging out with some other friends for a couple of hours, this guy comes back and asks me for a ride home. Of course I say yes. So, now that I'm baked I'm feeling very self-conscious, and he wanted to pretend that I don't even exist, or I was just being paranoid, either way.
Now, I'm trying to find the silver lining in all of this, and I can't seem to find one. It's at this exact moment that a car full of cute boys pulls up next to me at the stop light and start yelling for me to role down my window. After I role it down, one of the boys says "Hey girl, how are you? You're looking amazing tonight."
And then the light turns green, we take off, they turn, but I turn smiling to this guy in my passenger seat. And what I see there was my silver lining for the night, figuring out that he does care.
So, I guess the whole point to this blog post, was just to remind everyone that the silver lining is going to show itself, and not to worry to much, that things have a way of working out for the better. Even if it's random guys passing you on the street.
And also to hope that everyone had an amazing Halloween
