Bike ride on Sunday to eat at a pile of awesome foodcarts!! (also there's beer!)
Meet up at Noon-Fifteen and hit the road at 12:30pm on Sunday. This'll be one of the easy, laid back rides I've had people requesting. This is almost completely path too, no roads aside from the occasional street crossing and 1/4-1/2 mile or so of connector between paths. We'll be taking the East-bank Esplanade down to the Springwater Corridor out to SE 82nd to Cartlandia (and it's accompanying beer tent) for lunch and hangout (should get there around 1:30pm). There's plenty of shade and it's a beautiful little ride. After we'll simply head back the way we came.
Easy enough, right? Those of you that are new to riding, this ten miles is nothing at all, easy as a walk to the store.
The starting point is mapped out in the attached image. It's at the Steel Bridge Peace Sign. If you're riding there just google away, if you're MAXing you can stop at the Rose Quarter (or whatever they call it now) and if you're driving there is parking at the Lloyd center and a 5-8 minute bike ride just down the road from there with good, wide bike lanes.
Feel free to contact me with any questions or just to say "Hi" and "I'll see you there!"
So... I'll see you there!
Ad'm.
