SO GOOD TO BE BACK IN FUCKING PORTLAND!!


I've had an eventful weekend! I woke up at 4:30am (2:30am {Pacific) to catch my flight, with layover in Dallas I got back to PDX at 2pm where apparently there were some WWE wrestlers (I don't know who they were) and Everclear were down getting their bags when I was. Interesting.

Got me bag, took the MAX home and walked in the door about 3:30pm ish and got to veg a bit noticing how unclean my apartment was- my current roomie (little brother) is not *nearly* as tidy as I am to say the least. Went grocery shopping as my last purchase on my corporate card (Thanks for the fruits and veggies Wells Fargo!) and made myself a stirfry that I put in a burrito. NOM!!

Saw a Facebook post for Dante's about a band called the Red Elvises playing that night. -

Saturday i got up and rode my bike (something I hadn't done since before my business trip) out to Mt. Tabor to watch the Adult Soapbox Derby. VERY Portland. Super fun.

That's right, Tater Tots smothered with Cheese, Jalapenos, Onions, and Pineapples and served in a dog bowl.. YOWZA!

Saturday night I went for a drink at the Horse Brass Pub out on Belmont with someone new (No, not a romantic thing) who I met off Craigslist wanting help building stuff for her place. We played darts and drew out ideas of things she'd like to build like a patio table and steps for her little dog to get onto her bed. That was fun.

Today I got up for a bike ride with two other folks- a young fella from a posting I put on CL about group bike rides and a friend from work.

And now I'm home... writing this blog. Yup. I'm strongly considering going to SINFERNO tonight out at Dante's to see the awesome show there and appreciate Pistolita shaking her booty (she Go-Go Dances there between performances). Last time I checked it out it started at 11pm and I didn't get home until after 2:30am so... I'm still slightly thinking about it but I know it'd be super fun. I'd been so down and out I need this weekend to be awesome and so far it's be everything I could hope.
