Well, I just got back home from an extended weekend away in Lincoln with Kat. It was meant to be a combination of birthday presents to one another (mine was at the start of the month, her birthday is today) as well as a Valentine's Day gift to one another. A long weekend away from home, nice food, fancy hotel, all that jazz for four days before a return to the ho-hum routine that is our lives. I'd rant about the things that I wasn't happy about concerning the trip, and I assure you there were more than a couple, but in the end I really I did enjoy myself and I know Kat did as well. I suppose that is all that matters.
I just find myself wishing that life could be like that every day, which of course is a farce unless I win the lottery or some other unbelievable thing happens. I miss my Kat and these walls just don't feel the same when she ain't here. Bleh.
Perhaps at a latter point when I'm feeling more talkative I'll go into the details of our vacation.
