I dislike how there isn't a category for "movies" or "film." Just got back from seeing True Grit, it was every bit as good as I figured it'd be. Little late to the party on making my way down to the cinema but that tried and true adage of "better late than never" applies as always. The Coen Brothers did an excellent job in their rendition of the timeless classic and Jeff Bridges was truly at his best.
Excellent flick, highly recommend it to all.
Then as Kat and I were leaving Joe (the theater owner) jumped us and asked us if we wanted to do a double feature. He was going to do the screening for Green Hornet while crunching some numbers before taking off for the evening. I, of course being the nerd I am, jumped at the chance. Sadly it turns out his key wasn't valid for another eight hours so he couldn't screen the film yet.
Disappointment. But all in all it was a great evening with my dearest and I look forward to whisking her away for an extended weekend in Lincoln.
