I spent today at the Olde Main Brewing Co. in Ames, Iowa helping the brewmasters make beer. It was a great learning experience - one that I will be sharing with all of you very soon in the first installment of a new segment at SG I like to call - "Whiskey For Breakfast". I will be interviewing experts in the area of beer brewing, whiskey distillation, wine fermenting, nosing and tasting, basically anything that has to do with the creation, enjoyment, or cultural significance of alcoholic beverages. So, for you "drinking nerds" out there, get ready to explore with me, the vast and exciting world of beer, wine and liquor. Coming soon to my contributor's page at SG.
