I wasn't going to update again for a little while because I kind of liked seeing my comments go higher and higher... got to eight then I guess I just couldn't take it anymore.
Funny thing is, I don't really have anything to update with.
I'm not going to make it back home before new years, which was my hope. So I'm hanging around the Detroit area for a while longer. Leaving to get back to SF on the third. I was going to be torn between three different things to do on New Years in SF, but here in Detroit, it doesnt seem like I can find anyone doing anything, maybe I'll check out the SGDetroit group.. if I'm still in that one...
There's a thing an old group of friends does every new years, but I'm just not sure I want to see them. I know one of them I definately dont, but the rest of them just don't seem like my crowd anymore, and to tell you the trouth, they didn't really ever click 100%.
For my drive back home, I'm going to take the southernly route so I don't have to pass through the rockies where it's snowing like blazes. The upside of this is that there is a much much smaller chance that I'll die in a snowdrift or skiddding off a cliff.
The downside to this is that it's apparently going to take me two days to get through Texas. No offense to those who live in Texas... but I don't want to be there for ten minutes, let alone two days.
So to sum up, anyone doing anything for new years? and anyone want to drive with me to SF?
